the EVERGREEN collection
This collection is inspired by my memories of the majestic evergreens that have called to me throughout my life; from the white pines of Northern Michigan to the Sitka spruce of the Pacific Northwest to piñon pines of New Mexico. Evergreens stay green through all seasons of their lives. They are symbols of endurance, self-renewal, and eternal life. Malachite is a gemstone with the deepest, most lovely, varying shades of green; in my eyes, representing the idea of ‘evergreen’ flawlessly. This collection of unique Malachite stones, hand-worked sterling silver, and rare fossil specimens harkens to the longevity and resilience of the evergreens.

These earrings are composed with some of Ma Nature’s rarest beauties. Alluringly striped Malachite ovals are suspended in brightly brushed sterling settings above true marvels of nature, sweet slices of an Agatized Tree Limb Cast!
These rarities were formed when a tree was buried by ash or encased by a volcanic mud flow. The wood was then burned away by the hot ash, creating a casting of the tree branch. Minerals in the groundwater then permeated the cast, replacing the original organic matter and basically turning it into a stone replica. The more you know!
These extraordinary specimens of gem and tree pair beautifully to create earrings that simply cannot be overlooked. But if that is not quite enough to win you over, these stunners are 2-in-1 earrings; meaning the Agatized Tree Limb Cast stick dangles can be removed and the sweet little Malachite posts can adorn your lovely lobes solo!
